Who can join us?
These are the requirements to be a vendor
in the Counted Wishes Festival:
At least 8 Counted Thread Designs on your website, blog, or etsy
shop are required to show that you are a legitimate design business. All Counted Thread Designs (Hardanger,
Needlepoint, Specialty
Stitches, etc.) are welcome.
All designs shown in the Festival must be your own "for sale"
patterns (not free ones or those of other designers you are selling). All formats
(kits, printed charts, pdf charts, etc.) are welcome.
Designs shown in the Festival must be family-friendly for the
young stitchers we hope will visit.
Designers who have taken part in copyright
infringements will not be accepted.
New applicants must provide us with their Design Information- Business Name, website, blog, or etsy
address where your designs can be found, years in business, etc.
Each Counted Wishes Festival costs $25.00 to
participate. (Registration is non-refundable).
Checks, Money Orders, and Paypal are
accepted in the USA. Paypal is accepted internationally.
When does Registration
begin?
Registration for the
Spring Festival (held March 15-21) begins January 15. The deadline
for vendor information to be in to the Festival owner is February 15.
Registration for the Fall
Festival (held September 15-21) begins July 15. The deadline for
vendor information to be in to the Festival owner is August 15.
Vendor Page Specifics
Your business description,
plus 12 design images and their descriptions will be hosted for you on
your vendor page. You may provide links to pages where customers can
purchase in your item descriptions.
After registration and
payment is made, vendors will receive a Designer Information email on
how to proceed, as well as an invitation to the
Counted Wishes Vendor
Group.
Please contact us within 24 hours if you have not received both of
these.
Each vendor will be able
to preview his/her vendor page before the Festival begins. Please
check over your information carefully when submitting. *Note: We
reserve the right to limit extra changes you request in fairness to
other vendors.
Each
Designer is responsible for handling the financial transactions for
his/her own sales.
We are not
responsible for Customer/Designer transactions; however, we reserve the
right to reject any exhibitor due to customer complaints that orders
were not sent, etc.
Tips For You
Unreleased, New Designs + Show Specials are the key to The Counted
Wishes Festival being a success for you. At least 1 New Design (never
before seen) is strongly recommended.
We
can't guarantee sales, but we try our best to make the cost reasonable
and to bring in as many visitors as we can. The Counted Wishes Festival
is still a grass-roots effort, even into our 3rd year. The promotions by
all the designers involved are what makes this an exciting Festival.
The
Counted Wishes Festival offers you a unique opportunity to have your
designs seen, and to be surrounded by great talent, with something for
everyone's taste in design, is very special.
